My Testimony

I am born again, as explained to Nicodemus in John 3:1-3  “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”. I am born of the flesh and spirit, according to verse 6. “ That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the SPIRIT is SPIRIT “..................

Verse 15 explains how to be born again, “ whosoever believeth in him should not perish but. have eternal life “................Being born again, equates to, eternal life...... the most important reason to be born again is to guarantee existence forever with Christ.

How do I BELIEVE  IN  HIM?........ Let me say what I think it is not. Acknowledging that the  (born again)  story is a fact, and that it is true, That is not (believing in HIM)..... Webster defines BELIEVE as  (trust in) (accept as true)   IN as (to indicate location, inclusion) (take in or comprise) and HIM as defined in the scriptures as THE CRUCIFIED SON OF GOD   

So to “believe in him” for me means . I TRUST IN, AND ACCEPT AS THE TRUTH, THAT JESUS, THE SON OF GOD, DIED  FOR ME................the operative word is ME......there in lies the difference in knowing what salvation is, and accepting it...

Salvation, being everlasting life, saved from perishing. John 3:16.........accepting what THE SON OF GOD did for me ,personalizes it, and makes it mine, giving power to the living Christ in me..

Galatians 2:20. “I am crucified with Christ nevertheless I LIVE; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” 

The only way I know to have access to God and his promises is by John 14:6 “ Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”. So just to have knowledge of, or understanding of the language is not action. It is the personal relationship with Christ, and through Jesus Christ, the SON of GOD,  that I have access to God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit.
